ABOUT NARYA GENOME CONSULTING

NARYA Genome Consulting (NARYA GC) was founded by Dr Guy-Franck Richard as a missing bridge between academic laboratories and private companies. It aims at promoting the most recent technologies in genome editing and advise companies wishing to start a new activity in this very competitive field of research.
Guy-Franck Richard is a molecular geneticist with more than 25 years of experience in genome editing. He has a PhD in molecular genetics, as well as an Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches.
He has been working at the Institut Pasteur for 25 years, as well as in Brandeis University (Waltham, USA) and Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, USA).
He works with bacteria, yeasts (Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Candida glabrata), as well as mouse and human cells.
Guy-Franck Richard uses meganucleases, TALE nucleases (TALEN) and several nucleases of the CRISPR-Cas family to precisely edit and modify genomes with high efficacy and specificity.
Guy-Franck Richard uses deep sequencing (Illumina) as well as long-read sequencing (PacBio, ONT) to detect possible off-target mutations after editing, to ensure limited undesired modifications.
